Recent advances in electrical stimulation therapy are helping to make it one of the most effective and efficient ways to help your body recover, rehabilitate, and reset.
Whether you are an athlete looking to break through a plateau or reach peak fitness, you recently suffered an injury or had surgery, or you lost functionality from a neurological injury or disease, electrical stimulation therapy unlocks the full rehabilitation and healing potential of your body.
How does NeuFit help reduce pain and accelerate recovery from an injury, surgery, or a chronic disease?
Heal faster, better, and more completely
Our focus is to help enhance the natural processes our bodies use to recover and heal, whether it’s from an injury or surgery. Since it is our nervous system that controls every muscle movement, that is where we began when we started exploring new ways to improve the efficiency, quality, and speed of rehabilitation. Welcome to the NeuFit® Method, featuring the patented Neubie® electrical stimulation device; harnessing the power of our nervous system to improve outcomes.
Remove what delays recovery
How you respond to the original trauma your body suffered determines how quickly you recover from an injury or surgery. Recovery time is often so long because the brain and nervous system send signals to guard and protect the site of the trauma. Blood flow can be impeded, reducing the body’s ability to rebuild. Signals from the brain to prevent movement can make that area of the body more vulnerable. With the NeuFit Method, your therapist can identify exactly where those neurological barriers are located, and then break through them with the FDA-cleared Neubie® device. Putting you on a faster road to recovery.
Reverse chronic pain
Pain is neurologically based. We experience pain in our brain, not our body. And when our brain perceives a threat, it sends out a signal that we recognize as pain. Sometimes, that pain lingers long after an injury is healed or surgically repaired. Like the acute pain caused by an injury or in the aftermath of surgery, the root of chronic pain can be safely targeted and stimulated with neuromuscular re-education using electrical signals.
How does NeuFit help improve fitness & performance?
Let’s start with the neuroscience
It’s possible to activate increased strength just by tapping into the abilities that lay dormant in our body. In response to experiences, our brain and nervous system adapt and change to form new patterns and set new limits to protect us. Occasionally, however, these limits are set too conservatively. Changing, fixing, or resetting these patterns of connections is called neuroplasticity, and it’s a fast-growing field of study. Our nervous system is hugely important to muscle function, movement, and pain. Think of it as the control system of our body.
Tech for our bodies
By harnessing the power of our nervous system, The NeuFit Method can help to restore, achieve, and sustain peak physical performance. One way it does this is by safely training the neurological skill of enhanced muscle recruitment. This boost can help to restore and increase strength, as well as lead to muscle hypertrophy. Additionally, electrical stimulation can be an effective tool for recovering from fatigue or injury and can be incorporated into a fitness routine to enhance overall physical performance and longevity.
The additional benefits of Electricity on our musculoskeletal system
Maintaining or increasing muscle mass
Recent studies on the Neubie have shown that it can help build muscle in ways that are similar to lifting weights, but without having to lift as much weight and the associated risks of injury (or re-injury). In addition, many studies show that maintaining muscle mass helps humans age more gracefully, helping with hormones, inflammation, and with preventing falls or protecting from the risks of injury in a fall.
Countering the negative effects of stress
Numerous studies tell us about the consequences of excessive stress. Stress wears our bodies down–it drains us. And sometimes, you literally need to recharge it back up or do a simple reset. It leads to so many of the health issues we face in modern society: dysregulated blood pressure, GI problems, anxiety or diminishing mental health, impaired sexual function, chronic pain, and more. Our bodies are both chemical and electrical, yet, most treatment focuses on just the chemical. Doing the Master Reset with the Neubie has been shown to help shift the body out of the sympathetic (“fight-or-flight”) side of the nervous system and into the parasympathetic (“rest-and-digest”) side, which supports effective digestion of food, cleansing of wastes, rebuilding of the body’s tissues, improved brain function and mental health, and more.

It depends on the situation. Harnessing the NEUBIE’s capacity for neuromuscular re-education, the NeuFit System has helped some people recover from these challenges in order to restore function. In some cases that recovery has meant slight increases in balance, movement, or the ability to complete activities of daily living. In a few cases it has been as dramatic as helping people get out of wheelchairs and walk again. There are many factors that affect a person’s recovery potential, so unfortunately NeuFit will not be helpful in all cases. If you or someone you know is dealing with one of these challenges, we encourage you to reach out to us or your local NeuFit Practitioner directly to discuss your situation.
Although the Neubie device is not indicated to treat M.S., the NeuFit System has been able to help some people with M.S. manage their symptoms and improve quality of life. The NEUBIE device is able to reduce spasms, increase range of motion, improve circulation, prevent atrophy, and provide neuromuscular re-education. With the NeuFit protocols, this combination has enabled some people with M.S. to improve function, become more mobile, and return to activities that had become challenging or impossible. Please take a look at the webpage for Dr. Terry Wahls in order to find more information.
Well, it depends. Fortunately, the NeuFit System is able to help most of the people who use it. Coupled with the NEUBIE device’s ability to re-educate muscles, increase blood flow, improve range of motion, prevent atrophy, decrease spasms, and relieve or manage pain, the NeuFit system has helped many people recover from sports injuries and various traumas and surgeries. Of course there are times when therapy and rehab strategies aren’t enough, and more serious interventions are necessary. If something is completely torn, for example, surgery may be the best solution. The good news is that NeuFit is non-invasive and very safe. Because of the low risks, it is often worth trying as a conservative strategy before considering more serious and invasive interventions like surgery and injections.
The NEUBIE is FDA-cleared and considered safe as long as it is used within the appropriate guidelines. For example, it is contraindicated for people who have a pacemaker or are pregnant. There are other situations in which practitioners should exercise caution. If you have any questions about your particular situation, please consult your medical professional.
The NEUBIE is mostly used in a clinical setting and primarily purchased or leased by licensed professionals. If you are a professional interested in adding NeuFit to your business (or team/school), please inquire here and someone from our team will reach out to you.
